QA/QC Chemist

Job Objectives

• Shall have Knowledge related to laboratory operation as per ISO 17025.Note: Specific roles and responsibilities as per ISO 17025 Scheme / requirements that may undergo changes from time to time shall be communicated separately.
• Shall have knowledge/exposer in ISO 9001 &GMP standards and shall be able to Perform the assigned task related to QC/QA in accordance with these standards.
• Shall have good testing skills and Perform QC tests and other associated activities as per the test method.
• Should have Operational and calibration knowledge of Lab equipment and ensure high level of care for lab equipment’s glass wares and other accessories.
• Shall have thorough Knowledge on solution preparation and be able to Manage standardization.
• Shall have monitoring capability of all chemicals and reagents are within shelf life.
• Knowledge on quality of reagent chemicals and reagent water.
• Shall be able to handle a team to execute job as per requirements.
• knowledge of certified refence material and calibration standard.
• Shall have knowledge on

1. supplier evaluation
2. Labelling and packaging compliance

• Documents management: Maintaining Records data and documents.
• wherever, the tasks are allocated and assigned to different individuals and in absence of the work on contingency basis.
• Shall be willing to:

1. switch locations as per task assigned as and when required
2. to work in shifts as per department requirements
3. be available round the clock / during holidays when required

• Based on needs different work levels shall be assigned in this role in such case execution of tasks /roles shall have some difference, especially on authorities.
